The redeveloped Seletar Aerospace Park (SAP) is the next foodie enclave to head to. Sengkang’s main shopping centre, Compass One, is a one-stop mall that serves residents’ needs and includes a library within it.
Sengkang Riverside Park which has a constructed wetland and rich biodiversity is a favourite of nature lovers. Visitors can hike on the trails to get close to the inhabitants of the marshland. The constructed wetland doubles up as a wildlife habitat and attracts a variety of mangrove birds and damselflies.
For sports enthusiasts, you can participate in various sports activities at the Sengkang Sports Centre, where the Sengkang Hockey Stadium is housed.

Any Future Plans for Sengkang?
Sengkang has transformed greatly over the past decade from plots of empty land into a community surrounded by high-rise developments and several facilities.
A new industrial area Sengkang West Industrial area is to be built at of Jalan Kayu. Land provision has also been made for a junior college in the town to meet future educational demand in the Northeast Region.
The completion of the Sengkang General and Community Hospitals this 2018 will bring specialist care to residents’ doorsteps. Public transport in Sengkang will also be improved with higher frequencies of trains and more bus services.
