Exciting new projects for Jurong West which are in the pipeline include the building of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR).

With Singapore’s terminus station located in Jurong East, the HSR link is expected to make it more seamless and convenient to travel in between Singapore and Malaysia.

Jurong West residents can also look forward to a brand new hawker centre. Located at Jurong West Street 61, the new hawker centre with 34 cooked food stores will be the fourth hawker centre in Jurong West.

Plans for a makeover of the Chinese and Japanese gardens are also on the way. The 40-year old gardens will receive an upgrade with new community spaces, tropical and aquatic gardens, as well as food and beverage outlets.
