Future Developments:
- New MRT station – Tampines North MRT Station (CR6) will belong to the Cross Island Line (CRL) Phase 1. The estimated year of completion is 2029. Located underneath Tampines Avenue 11, at the junction with Tampines Avenue 6 and Tampines North Drive 2, which are future roads, to serve the upcoming Tampines North residential town.
- New bus interchange – Tampines North Temporary Bus Interchange is scheduled for completion by 2022. Situated along Tampines Street 62, to serve upcoming residential developments in Tampines North.
- Enhanced inter- and intra-town connectivity – By 2022, the cycling network will be tripled to 21km.

What’s more, wherever you are in Tampines, it wouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes to get to the centre of the town.
3. Healthcare, Education, and Employment
Need healthcare assistance? You’ve got nothing to worry about! The nearest healthcare institutions are SingHealth Polyclinics Tampines, Changi General Hospital and St. Andrew’s Community Hospital, all within a 3.9km radius (less than eight minutes’ drive) away from Tampines Central.
Parents, rest assured, there’s a number of schools within close proximity. There are more than 15 educational institutions such as Chongzheng Primary School, Yumin Primary School, Dunman Secondary School, Ngee Ann Secondary School, UWC South East Asia East Campus, just to name a few.
