Sembawang is a non-mature estate located in the North Region of Singapore. It is part of District 27, categorised under Outside Central Region (OCR). Upcoming road improvement – The 21.5km North-South Corridor (NSC) expected to be completed in 2026, will better connect the Northern and Central parts of Singapore. One of the main highlights is Bukit Canberra, which is a one-stop destination for residents of all ages. It includes facilities such as an indoor sports hall, a hawker centre, polyclinic,senior care centre, therapeutic garden, and community farm and fruit orchard.
3. Healthcare, Education and Employment
If you need any healthcare assistance, the nearest hospital is Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (11-minute drive) managed by Alexandra Health and Yishun Community Hospital. Khoo Teck Puat Hospital is a general acute care hospital while Yishun Community Hospital focuses on sub-acute, rehabilitative, dementia and palliative care.
Rest assured, parents you don’t have to fret about your children’s education matters. Local schools found in the estate are Canberra Primary School, Canberra Secondary School, Sembawang Primary School, Sembawang Secondary School, Endeavour Primary School, Wellington Primary School and Northoaks Primary School.
